Library Hours
The Library is open Spring 2022:
- Monday - Thursday: 9:00AM to 6:00PM*
- Friday* - Saturday 9:00AM to 5:00PM
*Remote Chat reference services extend until 9pm Mon-Thurs, and 6pm on Friday.
The library will be closed on the following holidays:
- Fri, 2/11 - Lincoln's birthday
- Mon, 2/21 - Presidents' Day
- Mon, 5/30 - Memorial Day

Books
We recommend reserving your books online ahead of your visit. Books can be requested through OneSearch using the Request Item option. (See our Onesearch how-to guide for more info on using Onesearch.) Once you've placed a request, you will receive confirmation when the item is ready for you to pick up. You can schedule your book pickup appointment here: https://york-cuny.libcal.com/appointments/book
Note that the stacks are not currently available for browsing, but you can request items and a member of the Circulation staff will retrieve it for you.
Reference Help
Immediate online help is available through the library chat. You can find the chatbox on the right side of the library website. We are available any time during the library's regular operating hours. Please contact us via email (reference@york.cuny.edu) or use the "Submit a question" box on the right side of this page to get in touch if chat is unavailable.
Accessing library resources from off-campus
To access resources from off-campus, you need to sign in using your CUNY login credentials. This is the same login you already use for BlackBoard and CUNYfirst.
